Partner with group finance leadership to maintain consistency, accuracy, and discipline across markets.
Act as a key technical accounting resource across the network, including:
Revenue recognition

Research, document, and advise on accounting treatments for complex or cross-market transactions.
Support the development and maintenance of group-aligned accounting policies and procedures.
Work closely with Amsterdam-based accounting and group finance leadership as part of a matrixed global finance team.
Act as a trusted finance partner within the network, contributing to group-level discussions, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Translate group requirements into high-quality execution across markets.
Provide insight, challenge, and recommendations to strengthen reporting quality and commercial understanding.
Support the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of internal controls over financial reporting across the network.
Assist with audit readiness and future IFRS compliance.
Ensure compliance with South African statutory and tax requirements, while supporting broader group compliance initiatives.
Support and mentor junior accounting team members within the network.
Contribute to building scalable finance structures and workflows as the business grows internationally.
Help raise the bar on quality, ownership, and accountability across the finance function.
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting processes at a network level.
Partner with finance leadership on evaluating and implementing financial systems and tools (ERP, reporting, CPM).
Support system rollouts, optimisations, and standardisation initiatives across markets.
