Here, thousands of beauty creators carry out missions, test the latest products, and create content for brands such as L'Oréal Paris, Garnier, Lancôme, and Kérastase.

Community Engagement & Growth Manager SAMY × team5pm | L'Oréal Benelux

We are looking for a Community Engagement & Growth Manager who will make Lorealistar a true home for creators; warm, inspiring, and full of energy. Are you the person who connects the community and brings L'Oréal closer to its creators every day?

What you’ll do:

You are simultaneously the glue of the community and the eyes and ears of the team. Two flavors, one role:

  • Publish monthly Beauty News: trends, launches, and community highlights. 

  • Run 'Beauty Star of the Month': mini-interviews, spotlights, putting creators in the spotlight. 

  • Co-develop masterclasses and upskilling sessions on Lorealistar. 

  • Meet and represent the community live at physical L'Oréal events — from product launches to creator meetups. 

  • Set up CRM reactivation flows for inactive members. 

  • Maintain a weekly trend dashboard and process it into Beauty News. 

  • Moderate the platform and support inbox daily; all questions answered within 24 hours.

  • Execute campaign operations end-to-end: tester selections, RSVP tracking, winner selection. 

  • Process new registrations weekly, review profiles, and maintain the database. 

  • Set up targeted recruitment campaigns for specific profiles and manage the waiting list.

  • Monitor daily feedback, DMs, and conversations and pass signals on to the team.

  • Monthly 'Eyes & Ears Briefing': what works, what doesn't, and what concerns creators.

  • Translate community signals into concrete platform improvement proposals.

What does a day look like at Lorealistar?

08:30 — Coffee and the community: You open the Lorealistar inbox and the platform. One creator asks when her test products will arrive, another shares a Reel about her new Kérastase routine, which you immediately forward internally. You answer everything personally, because 'dear user' does not exist here.

10:00 — Campaign work Process new registrations, label profiles, finalize tester selection for the new L'Oréal Paris campaign. Who fits in terms of type, region, and content style? You make the choice, flawlessly and well-documented.

12:00 — Lunch + trend scroll (this just counts as work) TikTok, Instagram, Reddit beauty subs, you name it research. 'Hair slugging' is popping up everywhere: noted for the trend dashboard. Next week it will be in Beauty News.

13:30 — Beauty Star of the Month in the making You have a creator in mind for the spotlight. You send a personal message, ask questions for the mini-interview, and build the spotlight page. She responds within ten minutes with three exclamation marks. Exactly the energy you do this for.

15:00 — Alignment with the L'Oréal team You share feedback about a friction in the registration process, not as a complaint but as a proposal, with a solution ready. That's how you are: you signal and solve in consultation with the Advocacy Community Manager.

16:30 — Wrapping up Inbox at zero (or almost). Tomorrow's to-do list ready. Somewhere in your head, the idea for the next Beauty News edition is already brewing.

One day a week you work at the L'Oréal office in Hoofddorp, for real alignment with the Advocacy Community Manager and that creative energy you only get face-to-face.

What are we looking for

  • 2–4 years of experience in community management, talent management, social platforms, or a similar role.

  • Naturally connecting: creators feel seen and motivated by you.

  • Enterprising and proactive, you see opportunities and take ownership.

  • Sharp eye for detail without losing sight of the big picture.

  • Strong in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

  • Calm and structured when requests pile up.

  • Experience with CRM, loyalty platforms, or creative concept development? Big plus.
