Data Analyst / R&I by SAMY
As a Data Analyst / Research & Insights (R&I) professional, you’ll play a key role within our growing team, supporting the account management crew with sharp trend analysis and hard-hitting performance insights. You’ll dive deep into digital marketing data to understand consumer behavior and turn massive datasets into actionable stories that fuel successful campaigns. Your research and insights will help L’Oréal stay ahead of the conversation, make smarter content, and optimize every marketing euro. Whether it’s digging into social listening, benchmarking against competitors, or reporting on the latest trends, you’ll become the trusted advisor who sees what’s coming before anyone else does.
What you’ll do
Translate complex data streams into clear, concise, and actionable consumer insights for our clients
Analyze campaign and channel metrics to spot trends, opportunities, and bottlenecks for improvement
Set and refine benchmarks, measuring performance against industry standards and direct competitors
Use advanced social listening tools (like Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Synthesio, NetBase, Socialbakers) to track conversations, uncover trending topics, and monitor the market landscape
Prepare and present regular reports on brand performance, category trends, and competitive positioning
Collaborate closely with account management and strategy teams to provide recommendations on content, messaging, campaign creation, and budget allocation
Conduct market and competitor research to feed our strategic planning process
Stay ahead of the latest digital and social media trends to continuously drive innovation in our approach
What we’re looking for
You’ve got 2 – 4 years’ experience as a Data Analyst or Research & Insights analyst, ideally in digital marketing or at an agency, so you know how fast things move in this setting.
You’re great at figuring out what complex data actually means and turning all those numbers into smart, useful insights that people can act on.
You’ve worked hands-on with social listening tools like Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Synthesio, NetBase, or Socialbakers: so you know your way around these platforms.
You know how to set up queries, pick the right keywords, and put together reports that are sharp, clear, and really based on the data.
You’ve got a serious eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and you love solving problems.
You’re familiar with digital marketing, all the big social media platforms, and you understand the key metrics in influencer marketing.
You’re a real team player, easy to work with, you communicate well, and you’re happy to work together with people from different teams.
You’re proactive, curious, and always on the lookout for new ways to innovate in digital marketing.
You’re a native Dutch speaker and totally comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken. If you also speak French, it’s definitely a plus!
