IT Operations Support (EMEA)

The Role: Powering our Europe & Africa Operations

As IT Operations Support, you are the technical heartbeat of our offices across Europe and Africa. You aren’t just responding to tickets; you are ensuring that our infrastructure. From high-end post-production setups to making sure cloud-based SaaS tools works reliably for every team member.

Reporting into the Global IT structure from day one, you will be the go-to expert for local needs while maintaining the high standards of a global organization.

Main Responsibilities

• Regional IT Operations

  • Device & Asset Management: Own the full lifecycle of Apple and PC hardware—procurement, custom setup, and tracking—ensuring everyone from Amsterdam to Warsaw is ready to work.

  • Systems & Access: Manage user environments and L1-L2 support for our core stack (Google Workspace, Slack, Keeper) in line with global identity policies.

  • Creative Infrastructure: Support our specialized post-production environments, including NAS storage, workstations, and remote editing tools like Parsec.

  • Connectivity & Security: Maintain robust network performance and VPN access, while ensuring all operations stay GDPR compliant and secure.

  Collaboration & Growth

  • Global Alignment: Implement global IT standards and security protocols across the EMEA region.

  • Documentation: Keep our technical "source of truth" updated, from asset inventories to internal troubleshooting guides.

Who we’re looking for

• The Technical Pro: You have solid experience in IT support or system administration, ideally within a creative or media agency environment.

• The Problem Solver: You are structured and hands-on. You don’t just fix the issue; you improve the system so it doesn't happen again.

• The Communicator: You speak fluent English and enjoy helping people, making complex tech feel simple for your colleagues.

• The Global Mindset: You are comfortable working within a global framework and can manage regional responsibilities with autonomy.

Bonus points for:

• Experience with NAS/SAN storage or remote post-production workflows.

• Familiarity with MDM solutions (Jamf, Kandji, or Intune).

• An interest in AI-driven tools and modern automation.

Good to have

• Interest in AI/ML from a philosophical perspective: AI is a polarizing space which while presenting a great deal of opportunity, also poses risk. Everyone’s input into the ethical use of AI at SAMY is valued.

• Multi-market/multi-language experience and additional European languages (role-dependent).

• Curiosity for culture and consumer behaviour: actively tracks trends, creator ecosystems, and category signals.
