About the Role

Team5pm South Africa is looking for a hands-on Recruiter to support our Cape Town office during a period of rapid growth. This is a 3-month full-time contract (with a possible 1-month extension) to help drive several active hiring processes across the business.

You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and hiring managers to move roles from brief to offer quickly, helping us build out teams across media, tech, and operational functions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments, managing multiple pipelines, and actively sourcing talent to get roles filled efficiently.

What You’ll Do

1. Managing end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple open roles

2. Proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn and other recruitment platforms

3. Managing candidate pipelines and applications through Recruitee (our ATS)

4. Conducting initial candidate screenings and interviews

5. Coordinating interview schedules with hiring managers and ensuring timely feedback loops

6. Building shortlists of qualified candidates for hiring managers

7. Supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process from brief to offer stage

8. Ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

• 3+ years recruitment experience (agency or in-house)

• Experience recruiting for digital, marketing, tech, or analytics roles

• Comfortable managing multiple vacancies simultaneously

• Strong candidate screening and interview skills

• Organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment

• Experience working with an ATS such as Recruitee or similar systems is a bonus

Roles you'll likely recruit for

During the contract you will primarily support hiring for roles such as:

• Paid Media Specialists

• Insights / Data Specialists

• Implementation Managers

• Technical & AI Development roles

• Operational and support roles

• Post Production creative roles, like editors and Art Directors.

Tools you'll work with

• Recruitee (Applicant Tracking System)

• LinkedIn Recruiter / LinkedIn sourcing

• Google Workspace and Slack for coordination with hiring teams

You should be comfortable actively sourcing talent rather than relying only on inbound applications.
